The seminar was attended by social, cultural and political figures, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, a number of lawyers and activists, as well as representatives of civil society and media.

During the seminar, the Chairperson of the Women's Committee at the Bar Association, Ms. Asma Dagher Hamada, emphasized about the necessity of approving the quota of women in Lebanon as a tool to promote women's participation in political life. She spoke about the obstacles that stand in the face of women's participation in society and the low representation of women in Lebanon, the country of openness and civilization, which amounts to about 4.5%, although Lebanese women are present in all fields of work in Lebanon.

On the other hand, Mrs. Hamada focused on the importance of the necessity to modify some laws, especially approving the quota of women to activate the role of them more politically, and the shed provided a detailed explanation The concept of “women quota”, types and the reasons for approval.
